Non-Registered Massage Providers, also known as bodyworkers, are massage providers who are not currently registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. In some cases, these individuals are currently completing their training to become a registered massage therapist, but in other cases, they have trained to have a career specifically as a bodyworker. These bodyworkers generally offer relaxation massages and/or deep tissue massages through a variety of techniques. Non-registered massage is great if you do not have extended health benefits or if you have run out of extended health benefits as they are typically offered at a reduced rate in comparison to RMT appointments.

Hot Stone Massage

A hot stone massage is a therapeutic technique where smooth, heated stones are placed on specific parts of the body. The warmth from the stones helps to relax muscles, improve circulation, and alleviate tension. The therapist may also use the stones to massage certain areas, enhancing the overall experience.
